The most amazing thing about Eucharistic Adoration is that HE is really there for me - whenever I need Him!!  He listens to me, He never turns me away, He never lets me down and I always come away refreshed and at peace!  I would not give up my weekly hour of Eucharistic Adoration for anything in the world.  It is the highlight of my life and the source of many comforts and miracles.....yes even miracles.  

Our Eucharistic Adoration chapel should be open 24 hrs a day packed with people and yet I am sad to say that it is not. We are currently looking for 13 dedicated individuals who want to enjoy the presence of the Lord in a quiet setting. If you would like to be that person please call Bernadette Beggs @ 742-3055 or Mary Jo Beggs @ 743-6783.  The Lord waits for you and He HeHewill not disappoint you.  

If you cannot dedicate yourself to a specific hour, you can always drop in for a visit.  Or if you would like to become a ‘substitute’ adorer, we would call you only if one of the regular adorers is not able to make the hour. The summer months are coming soon and many people take holidays, if you could spare an hour or two a week during these months we could use the help. 

Let us not let this treasure slip from our sight! Eucharistic Adoration is a treasure beyond time! 

The adoration chapel (The Oratory) is located at St. Alphonsus’ Church, 1066 Western Avenue in Peterborough. Access is near the office entrance on the back side of the Church. The chapel is open from 7am to 12 midnight Monday through Saturday and from 12 noon to 12 midnight on Sundays.  The following are the hours still without regular adorers:   

Sunday:	3-4pm & 5-6pm
Tuesday:	10am -11am
Wednesday:	8pm -9pm
Thursday:	10pm -11pm
Friday:	8am-9am; 8pm-9pm; 9pm-10pm; 10pm-11pm
Saturday:	5pm-6pm; 7pm-8pm; 8pm-9pm; 9pm-10pm
